A nice addition to my renowned series things I have seen from my canoe: a bald eagle fishing on Lake Ki.
This canoe has been closer to eagles twice. One of those times, years ago in Redmond, I was almost hit in the face by an eagle struggling with a fish. Sadly, this is my only video evidence of any such encounter but remember, this is a wide 170 degree fish-eye lens camera so it was more exciting than it appears.
Just before that video was Lake Loma (Crabapple Lake was closed – so why did I pay extra for access rights this year?) This is my first real attempt at time-lapse. Expect to see more (and hopefully improved) such egoVids in the future.
So today I added two more lakes to the scratches on the thwart.

Holy cow that’s a lot of water paddled! 🙂 Envious. It’s so lovely to experience you enjoying and being and doing.
Your second video may be just a tad too fast! 🙂 Although I loved watching the clouds, it took two times for me to realize that was you paddling out of the picture at the beginning !
