Today we had Seattle’s occasional version of winter weather: 45mph wind and 57! degrees (sometimes in June when sailing we hope for 50+ degrees and a little wind). Paddled the QCC from Bothell to the Red Hook Brewery.
Here is the video from the upriver part. It took an hour to go the 4+ miles. The video is speeded up 5x so it is still 12 minutes long. Watch it only if you are really bored -at the 7:00 mark I am paddling against 5mph current. Took less than 40 minutes to return.
Ooooo! that sounds *cold*. . . brrr. It got up to 26 here yesterday. . .
