Kayak can be completed in time for the trip but (family vote!) decided not to expose it to salt water before the epoxy and finish is really done. I will be taking the other one instead (the longer one, not the yellow one [do I really need 3 kayaks in addition to the canoe and wherry? – there are some long-held and eloquently expressed views on that question]).
Here is where we are now – the wood looks really, really good so it is hard to commit to the hatches, but you can see the black straps will go really well with the hull….. Parenthetically yours (as always)
