Spirit Lake is still full of logs and parts of the landscape look like it was blasted yesterday. There is still gravel everwhere that weighs as much as styrofoam and floats in water.
It is a 2h10m drive from Mt St Helens to Takhlkah Lake one way even when you are pushing it to let the Tundra know it is a truck. Average 34mph with some serious tread wear.
