Camping with J at a campground completely infested with mosquitoes. Fortunately our repellent worked great – the mosquitoes were forced to gather where I could not put Off! – on my eyebrows. Hard to concentrate on photography when your glasses are covered in bugs.
Takhlake Lake is on the western flank of Mt Adams at about 4,400′ . You earn it if you make it all the way here on the forest roads. I have to say even though I’ve been lots of places, there are few more photogenic than this. Too bad we still only had my broken pocket Elph camera. Multiple shots of the same thing here but the moods are different.
