Nice weather this weekend – paddled this local route non-stop. My psyche is better but now my butt hurts. My canoe will be 15 years old in October (my review once – posted 9-15-2004) and I think one of us has changed our shape since then. My project (after the kayak skeg, J/22 seahood re-rig and spring gardening) is to make another posterior receptacle. The one I made for the kayak turned out really well, possibly because I made such an excellent mold pattern by sitting in a pail of wet cement while it hardened (very popular later as a bird bath in the back yard). Although A is advocating that I make another bird bath, I think I will use the kayak seat as a model. Yeah, most of that is inside humor but remember, this blog is about me
