Launched the T-37 today!
Highly recommend this project. Educational and easy but way more sophisticated than I guessed it would be. The result is wonderful. I figured it would be very difficult to sail with a remote control but it was easy – I am confident today because of all the things I don’t know that I don’t know about controlling it – that will come on Saturday when I am crushed when I try to compete in a regatta.
It took me 93 days to build, but it is a 100% done….
Except:
- No headstay tension
- Jibsheet too long
- Mainsheet too long
- Jib toplift too long
- Jib sheet got caught on rough edges below deck
- Rudder stock not perfectly straight
- Need telltale
- Configure rudder servo to swing less
- Need to clip all loose ends
- Sand off sags with 2000, then 3000 grit from autodetailer
- Install bumper for weekend race
- Need to re-do deck radius lines
- ……….

Dan, congratulations on the launch and being 100% done! Good job.
