Many people showed up so I took Black Cat with IT. The wind slowed as the start approached. Even though we were within 30 boatlengths of the start at 1m we were still over a minute late. Did not make it halfway to the windward mark in one hour – might have helped to cruise the east shore though. We were the 1st to quit and motored up through the fleet. We get credit for influencing the RC on calling the race.
Although 1st to quit, we did participate.
