The NW has a well-deserved reputation for wet weather and dark winters. Today we are happy because the sun was with us 14 seconds more than it was with us yesterday. A good climate for writing novels and building boats. Today the weather brought 50mph winds, hailstorms, downpours lasting less than 30 seconds and lots of holes in the clouds. With the low sun, that means rainbows. We had more rainbows than rain today (the post title is because I grew up in tornado alley)
