One of the best things about flying to California is the geology tour. I always get a window seat opposite the sun for the time of day. Here are some volcanoes that were showing off between SF and SEA. Can you name them? Pic 6 is a trick (and blurry) because there are two – St Helens in the foreground and Adams in the background. Extra credit: if the pics are in chronological order, which direction was I flying?
OK – so it is not a physical adventure in the spirit of the blog but if all I am doing is sitting in a plane or in a meeting it is as close as I can get.
my guess: #3 is Crater Lake and #7 is Mt. Rainier so you were going North.
