The warmest weekend since September – took the kayak camping on Washington’s central west coast. Pretty sure I snagged the nicest campsite on the whole US west coast except that there was no shade.
Beaches are nice but I get bored after a while – walked for 6+ miles and did not see anything different from what I could see from the campsite. Trees, rocks, wildlife… In addition to the sun, there were also exceptional low tides and some Pacific storm leftover that had the surfers excited at the waves – usually there is not this much natural debri on the beach. Very photogenic – on Saturday I took better pictures .
Once again, birds provided entertainment
