An update on the kayak build is overdue.
I am working on a deadline (thank goodness!) so I have been making progress. Since the last post the interior of the boat was finished-but I still need to sand down some kevlar spikes under the deck– and the deck was connected to the hull. That was not a one-step process and is not really done yet. I spent many more hours sanding the deck to make sure that it looks as nice as an amateur like me can (no holes) then I committed to the deck with 8-year old S3 epoxy on Friday. Today I sanded the join (still not sure if I got this right) and then glassed the deck with an overlap to the hull. It is in hardening as I write this but it looks really promising…
oooooo
I really like the looks of that wood, bro!
