Good riddance March. Not only was it much colder and wetter than usual, the news on TV kept telling us about how the rest of the country was enjoying near summer weather.
On the upside, the early flowers are blooming extra long. It smells wonderful here –>

My ‘reason’ for keeping my big long vehicle is because I have long boats (18′ plus and hoping to get an 21+ footer). The argument is that you need to have a rack that can support a big delicate boat.
This guy (ripped the photo from WWTA FB post) has messed up a lot of guys like me – or ruined his boat.
On the other hand, I cannot imagine driving this rig in the 60+ mph crosswinds I ran into once in SE Idaho or the 50+ headwinds in E Washington. Even in my truck I had to slow down in those conditions.
Bah! At 20F this morning, we’re not done w/ winter yet!
