Went on a canoe trip (I was in my Mom’s kayak) down a river on the eastern side of the Lac Du Flambeau reservation. It may have been the Manitiwosh but I am not sure. We put in on Hwy 51 and took out on CR-H. The trip was about 3 hours at a VERY slow pace. One beaver dam and 3 logs but, because of all the rain, we could blast over them instead of portage.
Later it rained, then cleared up and then rained. I paddled around Little Sugarbush Lake for a while with my cameras and support. My brother in laws were fishing. They caught a lot of little fish and almost got a turtle (not on purpose). I scared a crane (picture below).
