Adventures Travel The North 40

The North 40

Yes, this really is the north 40 (in NW Missouri). The neighbor’s cows (and bull, the one in black) got through the fence. I did not go to visit them about their transgressions because it was muddy and he weighs a whole lot more than me (though the excessive travel lately has me catching up)

Visiting family in the Midwest for the weekend. It is so much fun to see them. Highlights include:
– rigging a Starfish in a backyard in Lincoln in April
– DQ burger in Maryville with my niece and nephew (they shared ice cream for dessert)
– causing 12 people to meet in the middle of Hwy K on a Saturday afternoon
– Easter dinner with Bea and Woodrow Wilson
– learning a technique for melting polypro webbing as safety rigging
– re-learning dog etiquette (I am better with cats)
– seeing a bobcat track (Thanks Maya!)
