Absolutely perfect weather, so I went to hike on very convenient Egret Mountain during lunch – but the trail was closed when I got there. Probably for the best since I have walked way too much on hard surfaces in lousy shoes the last two week.
Wandering around yesterday I kept thinking, what if I had known that Taipei could turn out so nice? I was already on the road less-travelled then, but still, you wonder what might have been if we had taken a different fork those years ago…
Maybe I am showing my age by asking that question
