Hike with J in Bellingham before the cold front. 3+miles with some elevation gain.
Not much to say: no viewpoints, geological weirdness, weather anomalies or wildlife (though we did see a pedestrian carrying antlers which seemed uncommon even for Bellingham).
I was presented with a new smartphone last week that can get readable e-mail anywhere and takes good pictures. This means I will be less tethered to the office – and it has great tethering so if I had a laptop (I keep giving mine away), then I could be even more location-independent. On the other hand, as you can see from posts this month, I have not spent much time at the office anyway.
