Adventures Paddling Shooting running fish

Shooting running fish

I went for a workout paddle in the canoe today on a nearby ‘river’. 6.8 miles. As I was paddling upstream I was almost hit by a very big jumping salmon. They are starting to run now. I had my egoCam on the bow but I quickly took it off and improvised a salmonCam. ( Fortunately the camera already has a fish-eye lens. Har har har – I kill me!)

This is the 1st attempt at editing video and stills from this small adventure. Note at the 5~7 second mark of this video the dozens of salmon swimming upside down at the top of the bottom of the river.

  1. Salmon hurdling?

I can be just as funny as you are (see, they were running and jumping, and you were following them around…)
