Overdid it on the hiking in an attempt to video avalanches. Temp was predicted to hit 80+ so I hiked up to a lake below a sheer mountain to see if I catch some of that action. Saw about 10 avalanches but the video was pathetic. It is a very tough trail – it is on my unBucket List now. Something I will not do again in my life.
Here is a panorama view from my camera phone. Don’t look at the trees, the photo stitch software did some weird things. Besides the trees, it is accurate.
