Will this summer never end? Finished packing early for the next adventures so decided to scooter down and sail. First fall front coming through meant consistent S/SW wind and a downwind, port tack start. Me and RS and JR on Moya. Close on the start and behind by only 3. WSW wind backed immediately and we did not have the chute up so lost another 10. Closed at leeward but mucked up a gybe and then had an upwind handicap with sails/c. Still finished within a minute of DT/DS on GJ and way ahead of the rest of the fleet.
Tried using the Spin pole as a whisker pole for the first time ever and it worked – needed to post to prove it.
