We expected 11 but only 6 showed up. Maybe because it was cold and there was no wind?
Course was announced as only Hunts Pt and back. The wind was from the S then. In 5 minutes it was from the N (still less the 2mph). We had a spinnaker start, but after a few minutes the wind went south again. Then we got into a discussion with the Etchells about the windward mark. We (DT and I) sailed a good race but DS caught a great S shift and DK just had better speed. The 2nd leg was downwind and slow. We started high but then went low on a shaft of pressure and had a chance but could not catch them. 3rd. 🙁
