To keep you loyal readers occupied: drove to Oregon (from Kirkland, not NYC) today. When it was time to head home I found out that you can see Mt Hood from McMinnville. Listened to the end of the 1st half of the souperbowl as I watched the alpenglow off the glaciers and the bright moon rising over the hood of the truck. It was so nice I kept going all the way home. Sun took 90 minutes to set. Wiped out when I got home though – jet lag + 10 hours of driving.
