9 meetings in 2 days – totally wiped so I took some time out to try to appreciate the surroundings afterwards. Where? SE part of the Bay Area.
This is the first time I have been in California without a car. Ironic that this state is setting environmental standards for the hemisphere but is so dependent on the car and pedestrian-unfriendly. They do not even have crosswalks. Anyway, got a place near work and walked there along Old Alameda Creek (did not know the name, but thanks to mapping software knew where to go – technology can enable). Despite the fact that it is a tidewater ditch with old tires and trash, I saw egrets, ducks in FULL spring mode and lots of other birds – again with the ornithology!
These pictures from my smartphone – 1st time I tried that. Quality is not too bad.

I sure hope all is going well!
