Bonus weather day. A warm and sunny Friday in March that was not predicted – 
so I went to hike the trail that evaded me last month. This time I took the 4WD and snowshoes. I needed both! True to form I messed up with cameras again. Usually I forget to bring batteries for the camera. This time I brought fresh batteries but left the camera at home. I did bring the vidcam.
The hike was over 5 miles (1,550 elevation gain) but it still took almost 3 hours because of the snow conditions. One scary slip – documented below so that I can learn. (Pictures of the same hike in June 2007)
