I am cheating a little, I have only posted 20% of last week’s trip and now I already am posting today’s hike.

Took J with me to Sunrise in Mt Rainier NP today. We left the driveway at 10:08am and got back by 6:09pm (2 outs after the 1st pitch in the Mariners game – I promised to make it home – blame it on Taco Time).
The weather was perfect so I justed wanted to be there, not to hike a lot. We did 4.3 miles but it seemed a more because we started at 6,000’+ feet. Dege peak is 7,000′.
