Stresa

Stresa is an old resort town on the largest lake in Italy, Lago Maggiore. Stresa has seen better days. It’s heyday was in the 1920’s as Mussolini was consolidating power here. The big hotels are old Baroque style and there are 3 islands in the lake just off the Stresa, one of which is extravagant in a late 18th century way.

Last day here and I had to cut it short to catch the train back to Bologna for my flight in the morning so I just hung around and experimented with the MomCam taking photos that I would not ordinarily take.
