It is all about the start. Distraction led to starting 15 boat lengths behind. 83 minutes later at the finish we were 3 boat lengths behind. Used very different strategies, sails and routes but still ended up that close. Evenly matched boats. 
Not sure how they got an aerial shot of the race (after rounding the upwind mark — Here is the FB Group) That is us in the middle upper. 1424 is the boat I sailed on with DT and PL against 1427 (DS/CP/LP).
