Seattle to Taipei in less than 60 seconds

Actually 15h40m door-to-door. Taxi did not show up so A had to drive me in the middle of the night. What a trooper!

I cheated on this post. No upgrade to a comfy seat so I did not have space to get the camera out for the window shots – the black screen are fakes! I put them in to emphasize how exciting a 6,000+ mile plane ride can be. But, in fact, when I was awake it was very pretty because there was a full moon and we were headed west so we stayed underneath it. I saw the same full moon for a long long time –  from moon rise in our backyard Sunday night to moon set on Tuesday on Taiwan.

  1. Can you say whirlwind? When do you get to slow down? So glad you take time for yourself sometimes, though. . . .
