Note to self: bring your camera!  From my phonecam, here is a wood stave cistern on an old industrial building in Queens. Though I can’t make out the company name, the church across the street was completed in 1869 so I am guessing the same time frame. This neighborhood is in transition (probably always has been) but it would be nice if they could preserve some of the brick facade architecture.
