We drove to Yilan today. After a morning of work we had a remarkable meal for lunch. 
Then they said we should go to a local museum. It is not possible to describe how unappealing that sounded, but the good guest rallies. It turned out to be a remarkable recreation of an old village with
all the shops (handicraft stores). What a pleasant surprise. And big. Not many pictures on this blog but
