Coho 12

Visible progress! Soon the boat will no longer be topless.

Using string theory, I tried to set the deck panels without the stitch part of stitch-and-glue. The idea is to avoid drilling any holes in visible wood. I had no idea if it was going to work. The underside has wide masking tape on the joints backed with gorilla tape. So far it is working, I have glued solid all but the recess plate and the front 12 inches.

  1. Great idea about the strings! Um, that treadmill looks lonely . . . no more forced marches for the kids, eh?

  2. Ha! That ship has sailed!
There are 5 adults in this house now (Constance is lodging a friend)

  3. Glad you got it. Hoping for a simple elegant solution with no empirical evidence whatsoever, only theory. If the Coho is an accurate analogy then the universe is off by about 90mm about 32cm after the beginning – but in this case it was partly the creator’s fault for using black material without much knowledge of its expansive properties.
