Paddled the canoe this morning from Bothell upriver 5.2 miles so 10.4 roundtrip. Cold. I could see my breath when I started. Lots and lots of salmon now. In fact, on the way back I had to stop to let these bothersome birds finish lunch (note fins in water – right foreground).
