Took a couple of hours away from the office and walked less than 10 minutes to the Sports Center here to watch Pro Tennis (2011 Taipei Ladies Open). Lots of regional players and a few ranked in the top 200. Intense, fast and good play. First, a local against a Chinese competitor, then Olga Govortsova against Karolina Pliskova (who played 2 matches in a row when I was there and also plays doubles with her sister) and then Wang Qiang below (intensity). Hard to believe how much in Asia has changed. Admission free with non-monetary donation, sat in the 3rd row (yes, the pics are from my camera).
